Entain PLC and JD Sports Fashion PLC Follow Suit
Entain PLC (ENT), a gambling industries firm, and JD Sports Fashion PLC (JD), a clothing retail company, climbed 3.76% and 2.61% respectively.

Melrose Industries PLC (MRO), a building materials/products company, saw the largest decline among the FTSE 100 constituents, with shares declining 4.91% on Friday.
Smurfit Kappa Group PLC and BT Group PLC Experience Decreases
Shares of Smurfit Kappa Group PLC (SKG), a containers/packaging firm, and BT Group PLC (BT.A), a wired telecommunications services company, fell 3.17% and 1.62% respectively.
Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC and DS Smith PLC Also Experience Decreases
Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (RR), an aerospace products/parts company, and DS Smith PLC (SMDS), a containers/packaging firm, rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks fell 1.52% and 1.39% respectively.

The pound was up 0.03% against the dollar at $1.2475 and was down 0.09% against the euro at €1.1649.
Brent crude rose 0.9% to $90.74, and the yield on the 10-year gilt fell 1.080 basis points to 4.433%.
