U.S. Stock Market
As the U.S. stock markets prepare to open in two hours, some companies are already showing promising gains. XPO Inc. (XPO) is up 7.8% in pre-market trading, while BorgWarner Inc. (BWA) has seen a 6.1% increase.
Other companies experiencing gains include SoFi Technologies Inc. (SOFI), LPL Financial Holdings Inc. (LPLA), and Healthcare Realty Trust Inc. (HR), all of which have posted gains of at least 4%. However, not all companies are faring as well. Revvity Inc. (RVTY) and Bio-Techne Corp. (TECH) have experienced declines of 12.1% and 5.9% respectively.
Market Futures
Looking at the market futures, we can observe positive movements. The S&P 500 futures show an increase of 0.62%, while the futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average show a rise of 0.55%. Additionally, the Cboe Volatility Index futures have increased by 2.74%.
Commodities
In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures have fallen by 1.20%. Conversely, gold futures have seen a slight rise of 0.23%. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has slipped by 0.43% and is currently valued at $34,438.
